Introduction

Careful handling of your personal information is important to us at Fescon Oy (hereinafter "Fescon" or "we"). We treat your personal information in accordance with data protection legislation and good data management and handling. Personal information is any information that a person (hereinafter "User" or "you") can be identified.

We use information for delivering and personalizing services, customer service, and showing more relevant advertising. Please note that our website may contain links to other companies' sites or services that have separate privacy policies.

Collection of personal information

We will primarily collect your personal information directly from you, either orally or in writing. They may be information collected by us or our partners on our behalf.

Forms sent through the website contain personal information: minimum first name, last name, and email address. By submitting a form you agree that the owner of the pages will store the personal information you provide to their system to implement the service you request.

Data may also be collected by the services we have at our disposal.

We also get information from the registries held by the authorities, credit information and customer records, and other trusted registries.

We also get technical user information on our service, including:

We do not combine and save this information with your personal data.

How we use personal information

We handle personal data for three main purposes.

1.    Offering services

For the purposes of contact management, we will keep contact information and accounts of contact topics with the User so that we can provide services to the User.

2.    Development of the service and research

We may use personal information to improve the quality of the service, resolve problems encountered in the service, and to develop service features for Users. This data processing is based on our genuine interest in improving our service and its features and content. We may also produce anonymous statistics for research purposes, including for Business Intelligence.

3.    Marketing and communication

We may use personal information to send the User important information about the service. Personal data may also be used for the purposes of advertising, marketing, direct marketing, and personalized marketing to the User. We may create general profiles of Users to provide better content and ads. This is based on our genuine interest in keeping Users up to date on our service and to market new necessary products and services to our Users. You have the right to deny direct marketing at any time.

Sharing of personal information

We do not share personal information with third parties except:

•          IP addresses and marketing cookies that are not associated with other personal data
•          when our trusted service providers provide us services on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions. We supervise the use of the User's personal data, however, and we are responsible for it in all situations;
•          if we are part of a merger, acquisition, or divestment of a business or part thereof;
•          when we sincerely believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect the security of the User or the security of others, investigation of fraud, or in order to enforce governmental requirements.

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

Transfer of personal information outside the EU/EEA

As a rule, we do not transfer User's personal data outside the EU/EEA. Some of the statistics and marketing services we are using are in the United States. When these service providers provide us with services, we may have to transfer some User information to the United States such as IP addresses to statistics or email, company and name information to the email marketing system or to the sales system. In these situations, our service providers are committed to providing the level of data protection required by the laws on data protection in Europe and to comply with the Privacy Shield agreement.

Storage of personal information

Your personal data will only be retained for as long as is necessary to meet the objectives defined in this Privacy Policy. When the law, our rights or obligations or the rights or obligations of the User no longer require the retention of the User's personal data, we will destroy such personal information. For example, when a user requests to delete their information from a service, we will destroy data. For technical reasons, in such situations personal data will be stored in our backup for up to one year before being destroyed.

Our customer service will try to answer questions and feedback about the registry within a few business days.

3.    Name of the registry

Fescon's customer and marketing register.

4.    Purpose for processing personal information

The purpose of the processing is to handle customer relations, to enforce the rights and obligations of the customer and Fescon, and to treat personal data for purposes related to online services, research activities, directing Fescon's advertising, and / or direct marketing on customer data through Fescon's media and services without transferring personal data to third parties in accordance with the Personal Data Act.

5.    Data content of the registry

The registry may include the following information about customers:

•          Name
•          E-mail address
•          Mobile phone number
•          Company and position
•          Company address

6.    Regular sources of information of the registry

The registry is composed of Fescon's customer database. Information is maintained using publicly available Internet sources (for example, your company's home page) and other public sources. The register also contains information provided by the customer himself.

7.    Regular disclosure of information

The data controller shall not disclose the personal data of the Customer to third parties, except as required by the Finnish authorities.

8.    Storing and deleting data

We will keep your information at least for the duration of the customer relationship. After termination of the customer relationship, the retention period depends on the information and its purpose. The information may be deleted by your request or because of the termination of the customer relationship.

9.    Principles of registry protection

Personal data is kept confidential. The Fescon data network and the hardware on which the registry is located are protected by a firewall and other necessary technical measures.

10. The rights of the registered

You have the right to prohibit the disclosure and processing of your information for direct advertising and other marketing purposes.
