Base
Clean the base of loose dust and dirt. Remove cement paste from concrete surfaces. Wet the dry base until it darkens. The best time to wet the surface is the previous night.
Mixing
Refer to the bag for how much water the concrete requires. Add the dry material to the water and mix with a concrete mixer for around ten minutes. With a power mixer, around one to three minutes of mixing is sufficient. Let the plaster stand for around five minutes and mix it again for a short while. Find the correct consistency at this stage by gradually adding the rest of the water. We do not recommend adding all of the water right at the start. The finished concrete remains workable for around one hour.
Repairing
Moulds are constructed in such a way that the casting is as easy as possible to do and the mass can be compacted. Rapid concrete can be compacted by ramming or vibrating.
Floor surface casting
Spread the concrete on an undamaged and clean casting surface and compact it carefully. The recommended casting layer thickness is around 5 to 75 mm. Flooring can be laid after 4 to 7 days depending on the water amounts and drying conditions. During installation, take note of the moisture guideline values required by the flooring manufacturer and RYL.
After treatment
The need for aftercare is considered on a case-by-case basis according to the purpose of use and drying conditions.
