Liquid hardening/thickening agent (Component C) for use in solvent-free Nanten polyurethane coatings, designed to reduce sagging on inclined surfaces.

Mixing

The A-component of Nanten PU Flex Bio coating must first be mixed to a uniform consistency. A small portion of Part A is set aside – refer to the Mixing Ratio section for guidance. Nanten PU Tix is then added to Part A and mixed thoroughly for one minute. After that, Part B is added and mixed for two minutes, avoiding air entrapment in the mixture. Finally, the mixture is poured into a clean container and mixed for an additional one minute, again avoiding air entrapment.

Mixing ratio

The additive accelerates the curing reaction. We recommend preparing no more than 2–4 litres of coating mixture at a time.

For painting skirtings, Nanten PU Tix should be used at 1% by weight of the total coating mixture.
Example: 0.75 litres of Nanten PU Flex Bio Part A + 1% (= 12.6 g = 12.1 ml) Nanten PU Tix + 0.25 litres of Nanten PU Flex Bio Part B.
